The hottest city-month is July in Dessalines, with an average high of 34.0°C, and the coolest is January in Cap-Haïtien, at 25.9°C (tied with February in Cap-Haïtien). By single month, the most rain falls in May in Port-au-Prince, with 240 mm (tied with May in Pétionville, May in Cité Soleil and May in Croix-des-Bouquets), and the least in January in Arcahaie, with 7.4 mm.

July is the warmest month in 14 cities, August in 1 and September in 1 (in 2 other cities two or more months tie); January is the coolest in 6 cities and December in 4 (in 8 other cities two or more months tie). May is the wettest month in 10 cities, October in 5, September in 2 and November in 1; January is the driest in 11 cities, February in 4 and July in 2 (in 1 other city two or more months tie).
