By single month, the most rain falls in December in Larache, with 133 mm, and the least in July in Ait Melloul, with under 1 mm (tied with July in Inezgane and July in Essaouira).

August is the warmest month in 36 cities and July in 14 (in 6 other cities two or more months tie); January is the coolest in every city. November is the wettest month in 31 cities, December in 10, March in 6, October in 4, April in 2 and February in 1 (in 2 other cities two or more months tie); July is the driest in 55 cities and August in 1. Of these cities, 27 have a month with under 1 mm of rain; none has a month with an average high below 2.0°C or a month with more than 300 mm of rain.
